Mr. Chua Seng Wah (Alvin) is the President of SFFLA and also Head of Trade Facilitation.
He was elected as SFFLA Committee member in 2003 and was elected as Vice-President in 2007. In 2009, he was elected as Deputy President. During the same year, he took over as President of SFFLA, following the untimely demise of the late Tan Ah Beng.

Dato’ Tony Chia Han Teun is the President of SFFLA and also Head of Customs and OGAs’ Portfolio.
He was elected to SFFLA Committee in 2013 until 2011 where he was elected as Vice-President until 2015. As Vice-President, Dato’ Tony was appointed the Chairman of Customs Affairs.
In 2015, he was elected as Deputy President and maintained the chairmanship of Customs Affairs Portfolio. In 2018, Dato’ Tony was elected as President of SFFLA and continued to head the Customs Affairs and
OGAs’ Portfolio.
From 2011, he was also a Council member of FMFF and in 2018, was appointed Vice-President of FMFF.
He was awarded the Certificate of Merit on the occasion of International Customs Day by the World Customs Organisation in 2019 for rendering exceptional service to the International Customs Community
With more than 40 years’ experience in forwarding and logistics services, Dato’ Tony brings with him to SFFLA his vast and extensive knowledge in the logistics industry and in particular, Customs procedures and
regulations.
A true graduate from IHK (Institute of Hard Knocks), Dato’ Tony has learned his lessons well and is a living testimony that hard work and perseverance can lead to exemplary success.
He has promised to dedicate all his efforts to build SFFLA to be a cohesive and respected association and as an effective voice for the logistics industry.
SFFLA has a long term established relationship with Royal Malaysia Customs Division (RMCD), and has acted as a liaison between RMCD and logistics service providers.
SFFLA and RMCD are in sync in their Vision, Mission and Service Ethics.
Any new developments or changes enacted by RMCD in the pursuit of a world class customs administration is conferred with SFFLA and disseminated to its 700 members.
This symbiotic relationship goes both ways, as SFFLA will always provide industry feedback to RMCD.

SFFLA Non-Cheque Deposit (NCD) Scheme, lauded as the first of its kind in the world, has smoothen the operational flow between shipping lines, freight forwarders, and custom brokers.
SFFLA’s NCD Scheme eliminates shipping liner’s woes of unrecoverable container damages, detention and demurrage charges by acting as a guarantor on behalf of the freight forwarders and custom brokers.
Consequentially, SFFLA’s registered NCD members are not required to issue container deposit to shipping liners.
The Port Klang Authority (PKA) will chair a dispute resolution committee with the assistance of SFFLA, to resolve any unagreeable detention, demurrage and damage charges.
SFFLA has also taken the initiative to foster a strong camaraderie between logistics sectors and industry. We believe that having a strong bond between logistics service providers is also essential to nurture a strong bond.
